Along the way you will watch as these humans team up with robots to help terminate the lives of children, who have done absolutely nothing wrong. Plastic memories tells of a guy who cannot get a real girlfriend, so within two months he falls in love with his robotic work partner, who he then has to terminate (That isn't a spoiler, since it is mentioned on the first episode). (Did try not to spoil anything with that) In the end the anime does its utmost to cheer you up with what could be considered a gigantic copout, a utterly confusing ending, or if you are a bit of an oddball, it could even be seen as a good ending. Plastic Memories focuses on the idea of androids in society.
